The concept of combining traditional illustrations and paintings to create a smooth transition into the digital graphics was a challenge, yet turned out to be one of the designer's new favorite tools in her repertoire.
A fresh new restaurant in need of clear, modern, and posing a sense of fun expression was in order for Fish Bowl. A new logo, menu design, and promotions were created to reflect the clients wishes.
The main logo is the letter “F” in the restaurant main font, along with a fish swimming next to the “F” and thus, creates a gentle impression of a “B” as well. The menu design utilizes hand painted ko fish illustrations to pay homage to the traditional aspects of the restaurant.
